PROTECT YOURSELF WHEN PROTESTING FOR BLACK LIVES MATTER. A great guide by @stellar.margarita There have been numerous sightings of ICE and CBP in the current BLM protests. Some DACA recipients have already been detained are at risk of deportation. The first step we must take when going out to protest is to learn how to protect ourselves. EVEN IF YOU ARE A CITIZEN you need to help and make sure that your non citizen peers can leave the area quickly if you see ICE or CBP agents. You also need to make an effort to spread that information ASAP on social media. We have provided this resource in multiple languages so that you know how to protect yourself and your loved ones. We are working to provide this resource in more languages, if you are willing to translate or help, DM me. Non-citizens have rights when protesting and being arrested too. (I apologize for miss-spelling Japanese in the first graphic) Thank you to my sister for creating such lovey graphics and thank you to all the translators, they are all tagged in this post.
